I work for the Central Computer Services for the University of Amsterdam and the Hoge School of Amsterdam (ICT services). For the last fourteen years I have been a lead developer, helping to bring in large-scale deployment of services for the entire student and staff population. I work full time in a work group for Innovation. I currently have three specializations; Getting stuff done, Quality Assurance and Learning Analytics.
I was the Sakai Foundations Quality Assurance Director. I am one of the founder members of the Sakai Project Management Council and the Apereo Foundations community officer for its Learning Analytics Initiative (https://www.surfspace.nl/artikel/1540-the-apereo-foundations-learning-an…). I am also one of the incubation processes mentors. Previously, I have won a Sakai fellowship and jointly a Teaching With Sakai Innovation Award (TWSIA). Further, with the excellent assistance of many in the community I have written two official workbooks on Sakai.
